Basic Notes

• Xilinx stopped ISE devices support since 2013 with Version 14.7. Xilinx recommends Vivado® Design Suite for new design starts with Virtex-7, Kintex-7, Artix-7, and Zynq-7000.
• Xilinx tools don't support devices, which are newer as the software release.
• For most ES devices (Engineering Sample), you must install ES devices, activate beta devices on vivado Vivado and have a valid license, see FAQ - How can I activate beta devices?
