Changes

#1 Reset Delay introduced after Xilinx Design Advisory AR# 63149

Type: Enhancement

Reason: possible secure lock down during reset. See: http://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/63149.html

Impact: Reset delay of 70ms added.

#2 MODE pin internal pullup is stronger (still only weak pullup)

Type: Enhancement

Reason: Improve noise immunity on mode pin

Impact: None

#3 ID changes

• SC REV code changed to 0x04
• TRACEID changed to 0x02
• JTAG Usercode changed to 0xE7200204

Method of Identification

All serial numbers starting with the following numbers will have CPLD Revision 04 or later.

It is possible to check the CPLD revision from u-boot by typing "mii read 0x1a 4" from u-boot prompt, the low order bits printed out as hex number are CPLD revision number.

Update procedure

TE0720-02 CPLD update can be done in-system on TE0703 baseboard or other carrier boards that support updating SC in-system.
