Note

For all Starter Kit's shipped before 2017-06-21:

Enclosure Power and HD LED was swapped on connector. See "Enclosure Power Button, Reset Button, HDD LED and Power LED"  section for correct connection.

Getting Started

Starter Kit is shipped with prebuilt Linux Example on SD. Newest version and sources are available on our download area: TE0808 Reference Designs

  1. Connect main power and set power switch to on. See Main Power Enclosure Location

  2. Connect mini USB cable from XMOD with green dot to host PC. See XMODs Connection
  3. Insert SD-Card with pre-loaded content into SD-Card slot.
  4. Open Serial Console:
    1. COM Port: for correct number see device manager
    2. Speed:115200
  5. Press the Power on button on the enclosure. See Power Button, Reset Button, HDD LED and Power LED Enclosure Location
  6. Linux login:
    1. User Name:root
    2. Password:root

Notes

Most LEDs are CPLD Firmware dependents, see TEBF0808 Master CPLD and TEBF0808 Slave CPLD

SI5345 NVM on the module is not programmed on factory, so modified FSBL is needed to get running output CLKS.

It it is possible to program NVM of the SI5345 2 times. With NVM configuration FSBL initialisation  is not needed.NVM can be programmed with Clock Builder Pro Field Programmer connected to connector J17. General documentation to do this are available on Application notes - , see Si5345
