MAX1000 includes on board FT2232H based Arrow USB Blaster hardware and those is fully compatible with Quartus Programmer both on Windows and Linux platforms. One time installation of Arrow USB Blaster is required.
Arrow USB Blaster selected as JTAG Debug Hardware in Quartus Programmer. Driver are available on our download page: Arrow_USB_Blaster
If selection box appears then "SA" type should be selected.
