In this section you must explain how to power on the board and run the Reference Design (test board) on the particular module. The main points must be mentioned are:

  • Overview of the board (point out the LEDs, Ethernets, Switches and etc on the board overview)
  • Explain Switches functionality
  • Explain user LEDs
  • Explain the UART connection

  • Refer to the Reference Design

For more information regarding how to draw a diagram, Please refer to "Diagram Drawing Guidline" .

Table of Contents

TE0728 with TEB0728

Overview

  1. Barrel Jack Power Supply
  2. XMOD JTAG Adapter
  3. SD card holder
  4. Reset
  5. Boot mode Jumper
  6. LEDs (Red,Yellow,Green)
  7. Ethernet Socket

Power supply

The input power supply must be mentioned.

Single 5V power supply with minimum current capability of 2.5A is recommended to power on the board.

DIP-Switches and Push Buttons

Explain all DIP switches functionality.

There is a switch (S1) which is connected to RESET signal, it resets the system entirely.

JTAG/UART

Explain JTAG or UART connection breifly.

JTAG and UART connections are available through XMOD JTAG adapter. For more information refer to TE0790.

The DIP-switch S2 is to set different modes of powering the on-board components, the I/O voltages and to enable programming the adapter board CPLD by JTAG interface:
