PCN NumberPCN-20260125
TitlePCN-20260125 TE0823-01 to TE0823-02 Hardware Revision Change
SubjectHardware Revision Change
Issue Date

2026-02-01

Products Affected

This change affects all Trenz Electronic TE0823 SoMs of Revison 01: TE0823-01-*.

Affected Product

Replacement
TE0823-01-3PIU1MATE0823-02-3PIT1QA
TE0823-01-3PIU1MLTE0823-02-3PIT1QL

Changes

#1 Replaced buck converter EN6363QI with MPM3860GQW-Z

Type: Schematic Change
Reason: EOL of Component.
Impact: None, minor changes in electrical characteristic.

#2 Replaced TPS27081ADDCR with MP5077GG-Z

Type: Schematic Change
Reason: Component not recommended for new designs.
Impact: None, increased current capability, minor changes in electrical characteristic.

#3 Replaced LPDDR4 RAM IS43LQ32256A-062BLI with IS43LQ32K01S2A-046BLI

Type: BOM Change
Reason: EOL of Component.
Impact: Size of RAM changed from 1GByte to 4GByte. Trenz reference design reflects the changes.

#4 Replaced SiT8008AI-73-XXS-52.000000E with SiT8008BI-73-XXS-52.000000E

Type:  BOM Change
Reason: EOL of Component.
Impact: None.

#5 Added power supervisor BD39040MUF-C

Type: Schematic Change
Reason: Improve power supervision.
Impact: None,

#6 Net PG_FPD replaced by PG_ALL at CPLD

Type: Schematic Change
Reason: Improve power supervision.
Impact: None.

#7 Added MOSFET T2A

Type: Schematic Change
Reason: Result of supervised power rails should be reflected in POR B and PG_ALL, ensures compliance with power-up sequence.
Impact: None.

#8 Added C144 and C145 and optional 100 ohm termination resistor

Type: Schematic Change
Reason: Skyworks AN408 recommends to use AC coupling for LVDS outputs when output driver @1.8V.
Impact: None (LVDS output on CLK0). If customer design implemented a single ended clock, this should be changed to LVDS.

#9 All LVDS and MGT tracks extended by 1 mm due to PCB changes

Type: PCB change
Reason: Due to changes above trace length of nets had to be changed.
Impact: None. Trace length changed, but this is carried out consistent over all IO groups. Therefore relative net length should have been preserved. Please also check online available trace length sheet.

#10 Renamed net PS_LP0V85 to PS_LPVCC and net PS_FP0V85 to PS_FPVCC

Type: Schematic Change
Reason: New names are correct independent from assembly version.
Impact: None.

Method of Identification

The revision number is printed on the top side of the PCB.
