Type: BOM change
Reason: Add new features. New PHY supports TSN/PTP.
Impact: New features are available. Trenz reference design works without change.
Type: Schematic Change
Reason: Add option to have dedicated reset pin for OSPI. Useful when FSBL leaves OSPI in a different state than e.g. Linux expects.
Impact: PMC_MIO pin 12 is now default connected via R199 as dedicated OSPI reset (with pull-up resistor R166 )
Type: Schematic Change
Reason: Add new feature.
Impact: TPM 2.0 features available.
Type: BOM Change
Reason: Use chip with newest available firmware version.
Impact: None, features should be backwards compatible.
Type: Documentation Change
Reason: Remove duplicate features in next revision, cost optimisation.
Impact: U14 and U15 will be no more available in future. Use TPM instead, see #3.
Type: Schematic Change
Reason: Resolve patch from REV01.
Impact: None.
Type: PCB Change (Silkscreen)
Reason: Unify connector naming across compatible platforms.
Impact: None.
Type: PCB change
Reason: Improve production handling.
Impact: None, serial readable from TOP side of module.
Type: Schematic Change
Reason: Optimisation.
Impact: None.

Impact: None.
Type: PCB change
Reason: Make more space for clamp holder of Trenz ATS (Automatic Test System).
Impact: None.
Type: Schematic Change
Reason: Old buffer was out of datasheet specification when VCC=1.8V and output pulled to a higher voltage. Due to BOM optimisation all similar buffers changed.
Impact: None.
Type: Schematic Change
Reason: Add assembly option if level shifter internal pull-ups are to weak.
Impact: None.
Type: PCB Change
Reason: Result from other changes above.
Impact: Test points have different location on board.
Revision number is printed on the top silkscreen of the module.
From end of July 2026, after old stock is gone. If the new revision is not suitable for your application and still the former revision of the board is needed, please contact us.
