It CyControl (Cypress USB Control Center) is a Cypress firmware tool. It can be downloaded from here.

It can be used forto download a .iic file (EZ-USB FX2LP USB FX2 microcontroller firmware) as follows:

  • recovery boot (it doesn't USB EEPROM and USB RAM programming): it does not require that a any firmware is already downloaded on loaded in the USB FX2 microcontroller);
  • update boot: upgrade a Genetarion3 Generation 3 firmware version (USB EEPROM and USB RAM programming); it does require that a Generation 3 firmware is already downloaded on loaded in the USB FX2 microcontroller).
