CyConsole (Cypress USB Console) is a Cypress firmware tool. It can be downloaded from here.

The recovery-mode driver can be downloaded from here.

The regular-mode driver can be downloaded from here.

It cannot be used to download FPGA bitstream files.

It can be used to download a .iic file (EZ-USB FX2LP USB FX2 microcontroller firmware) as follows:

• recovery boot (USB EEPROM programming): it does not require that any firmware is already loaded in the USB FX2 microcontroller;
• update boot: upgrade a Generation 3 firmware version (USB EEPROM programming); it does require that a Generation 3 firmware is already loaded in the USB FX2 microcontroller.
