Changes

#1 FTDI EEPROM AMD-Licence key (MISC1).

Type: Firmware change

Reason: Change according to FTDI programming method released by AMD with Tool Version 2022.2 and newer (UG980- Chapter: Programming FTDI Devices for Vivado Hardware Manager Support).

Impact: AMD Licence key is compatible with AMD Tools greater and equal 2017.1 release. 

#2 CPLD U1 Firmware update.

Type: Firmware change

Reason: Add AMD FTDI support and improve IO buffer configuration.

Impact: None.

 

Method of Identification

All serial number greater than or equal to 954283 . Programmer will be identified as Xilinx device which prefix 'TE' ,see AMD FTDI JTAG Programmer#IdentificationofAMD/TrenzLicence

The serial number is written on the QR-Code on the bottom side of the programmer.


Production Shipment Schedule

From 2025-02-18, after old stock is gone. If the new firmware  is not suitable for your application and still the former firmware of the board is needed, please contact us.
