It is a Xilinx bitstream tool that cannot be used to download firmware on USB FX2 microcontroller. It can be used to
- generate a .mcs file from a .bit file
- download a bitstream file on SPI Flash (direct or indirect in system programming)
To connect your computer to the board's JTAG connector, you typically need
- a JTAG cable with standard 6-pin JTAG female header;
- a 2.54 mm pitch 1 × 6 pin gender changer header.
