TE0790 will be delivered in 2 different Variant, which differs only in FTDI EEPROM configuration.

  • TE0790-xx  FTDI is programmed with Digilent License key to be usable with AMD Tool(Vivado, Vitis, Petalinux)
  • TE0790-xx-L  FTDI has default configuration

Programmer Power supply setting depends on connected carrier on J2 Pinheader. To check Programmer without connected FPGA Hardware  set following dip settings before connecting USB

Device Manager

FT2232H on TE0790 has two configurable ports which are default show as COM port. 

TE0790 with Digilent/AMD License shows normally only one COM Port TE0790 without License key show two ports.

Reliability of identification: Uncertain, in case FTDI was reprogrammed manually.

Part of the EEPROM content is visible with Microsoft USB viewer.

Serial Number

6 digit serial number of the module is located on the bottom side of the programmer, on the small sticker with QR Code.
